Metamora State Bank first opened its doors in Metamora, Ohio, on July 1, 1944. Originally owned and operated by a husband and wife team with a financial base of only $1.5 million, the bank now has branches in both Metamora and Sylvania, a staff of 20 employees, and assets in excess of $70 million.
